## Frequently asked questions

### How do I install CodWaves plugins?

Download the installer for your OS, run it, and open the plugin in your DAW. The plugin will prompt you to sign in the first time.

### Are CodWaves plugins compatible with Apple Silicon?

Yes. The macOS builds ship as universal binaries that run natively on Apple Silicon and Intel systems.

### Can I use the plugin on multiple computers?

Each license allows up to three active activations at a time. If you need to free up a slot, you can revoke an activation from the customer panel in your account and then activate on a new machine. Note: if you chose offline activation when first opening the plugin, your license is permanently tied to that device and cannot be transferred to another computer.

## Licensing

- Payments, downloads and plugin access are handled through a CodWaves account.
- Licenses allow up to three active activations at a time; activations can be revoked from the account panel. Offline activation via license file is available and permanently binds the license to that device.
